Following your dreams can be a scary ordeal. There are so many new things you have to learn and work through with confidence that you may not necessarily have at the moment. You must move forward, though. No one is going to chase your dreams for you. No one is going to make it and casually hand you the torch they worked night and day to light.
You are the only one who can do it, and you WILL. You may have moments of waivering confidence but I believe in you. In the moments when you are not sure, I am here to remind you of your strength. You can do anything you put your mind to from starting a journal to taking a dance class to starting a business to traveling the world in search of better opportunities. If it is in your stars, it will forever be in your stars and you need only to believe enough to reach out and grab it. The fear of falling should only push you harder.
Also remember that no dream is too big. For example, I know I will meet Oprah one day and she will ask me about my story. She will know my name and help me to get my message to more people in this world. She will understand I was born with something to give and she will hand me a microphone in front of an infinite audience. I believe some people would call me crazy or say I'm not being realistic. I believe, though, that if I believe it enough and work hard, I will make my dream come true. No one can stop me and no one can talk me out of what I know my life is meant to be.
If we all go into every situation with that attitude, we can absolutely make our wildest dreams come true. We must support one another and fight for what we believe in - ourselves. So whatever your vision is for yourself, you have the power within you to manifest that vision. When you need encouragenent I am here, and I hope you will do the same for the next person fighting to achieve their goals.
We can do it, my beautiful people. With drive and support and love we will change our lives and the lives of those around us. Keep pushing, and don't be afraid to reach out for a hand when you need it - mine will continue to be outstretched, waiting.
~until next time
Working a full time job, raising two daughters, attempting to have a social life, trying to make my family proud, and trying to make myself proud are things I do every day. I'm now beginning my journey of giving. This is step one.
